& Answers

  • Vermont in June?? How do we pack for that?
Vermont in the summer, particularly early June, is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The weather can range from the low 50's at night to high 70's during the day, so we encourage you to pack a range of clothing items in case the weather leans one particular way!
  • Can I bring a guest?
Unless otherwise stated on your invitation, we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests or plus ones at this time. We thank you for understanding that we would like to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family!
  • Are children allowed?
While we love all of your children, this will be an adult only event. The only exception will be the children apart of our wedding ceremony. If you will be bringing your children to Vermont, we encourage you to consider bringing a source of childcare or we will be happy to connect you with a local sitter for the evening! We hope you take this opportunity to have a fun night or weekend with your significant other!
  • Is there a dress code?
We are requesting Black-tie optional attire. For the men, options include a classic suit and tie or a tux. For the ladies, this means floor-length gown, cocktail dress or dressy pantsuit. We want our guests to look and more importantly, feel their best!
  • How do we get to the ceremony and reception?
We will have transportation to and from designated hotels (in our "Travel + Stay" section) that will take guests to the ceremony location at the Southern Vermont Arts Center. If your lodging option does not have a shuttle pick up, you can drive or schedule an Uber or Lyft (please note these are less available in Vermont). Shuttles will be taking guests directly from the ceremony site to the Equinox Resort for our cocktail hour + reception.
  • What time should we arrive to the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. If you are not taking a shuttle from one of the hotels, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself time to park and find a seat.
