Our Love
Story
Keri and Ryan met in January 2017 at their workplace, Celebrate the Children School in Denville, NJ. Keri saw Ryan walk into one of her speech therapy sessions with his student and immediately told herself not to get distracted by the new tall, attractive co-worker since she had internally made a rule to refrain from dating anyone she worked with. Ryan immediately noticed the cute speech therapist but focused on navigating his new job.
They made each other laugh and smile every time they crossed paths in the hallways at school and they became quick friends. Over the first year at CTC, Ryan attempted to woo Keri by bringing her Dunkin iced coffee in the mornings, but Keri held strong to her rule and they remained friends- making memories at happy hours, picnics and Escape Rooms with their group of coworker friends.
Three years later, during the Covid pandemic of 2020, Keri and Ryan often engaged in Zoom video calls with their group of friends. Slowly, they found themselves staying alone to chat after everyone else had left the calls and quickly realized by the end of the summer that they wanted to be more than friends. Ryan asked Keri on a date to Boonton Station in August 2020, and the rest was history!
Over the past few years, Keri and Ryan have introduced each other to their respective friends and families, and quickly realized they were gaining so much more than a life partner- but an awesome, hysterical + fun group of people to adventure with.
